Akshay Kumar FINALLY reacts to injuring his eye during Housefull 5 shoot & it’s sure to make you go ROFL

Actor Akshay Kumar is currently on roll with multiple projects in his kitty. He was recently shooting for Housefull 5 with co-stars Fardeen Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Sonam Bajwa, Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan among others. Recently, reports were rife that Akshay Kumar sustained injury on the sets of Housefull 5 after an object hit his eye. He has now reacted to the injury news in a witty way.

The Singham Again actor was at the trailer launch of Pintu Ki Pappi when a reporter asked him about his eye injury. While the actor chose not to divulge more details, he replied saying, “I can see you”, as the audience burst out laughing.

An insider source reveals to HT City, “An object came flying in Akshay’s eye while he was doing a stunt. An ophthalmologist was called on the set immediately, who bandaged the eye and asked him to take some rest, while the shoot resumed with the other actors. However, even with the injury, Akshay is determined to join the shoot back soon because the film is in final stages of shoot, and he doesn’t want it to get delayed.”

Housefull 5 features an ensemble cast including the franchise constants Akshay and Riteish Deshmukh, along with the return of Abhishek Bachchan, Shreyas Talpade, Chunky Panday, Jacqueliene Fernandez and Nargis Fakhri. The new additions in the cast include Fardeen Khan, Dino Morea, Johnny Lever, Jackie Shroff, Sanjay Dutt, Nana Patekar, Sonam Bajwa.

On the work front, the actor will next the seen in Sky Force which also stars Veer Pahariya and Sara Ali Khan. He will reunite with Priyadarshan for Bhoot Bangla. He even confirmed sequel of Hera Pher 3 and Bhagam Bhag 2. The actor also has Welcome to The Jungle which has an ensemble cast. Apart from this, he is simultaneously shooting for Jolly LLB 3 with Arshad Warsi and Huma Qureshi.
